Dilution / Detention rates:
Dilution of Preventine MLC concentrate with water for sprayers.
1:1000 (1 milli-liter of MLC concentrate to 1 Liter of water) achieves a 100% killing rate of larvae after a detention time of 24 hours.

• Without rainfall, MLC will continue its full effect 3 months after application

• Should heavy rainfall increase the water quantity of the 1:1000 MLC / water mix to 1:25000 the product still achieves a 100% killing rate 5 days after application of the original applied spray.

The bottle content of the 100ml Preventine MLC® concentrate shown next to the 15 Liter sprayer , is sufficient for 7 fillings (approximately 100 Liter/ 25 Gallon of spray) delivered for testing purposes to Government authorities.

 

Bottles of 250ml are delivered as standard, 1 Liter, 5 Liter bottles and 25 liter drums are available to suit our client needs. The product has a shelf-life of 5 years supplied from the UK as non-toxic, non hazardous shipment in compliance with 93/112/EEC and ISO 11014-1

 HOW DOES PREVENTINE MLC^® WORK?

Preventine MLC^® is a complex saturated ionic aqueous solution containing minerals such as Gold, Silver, Copper, Aluminium and Zinc.

Methodology:

The microscopic action of these natural mineral ions:

A) break down the cell walls of the mosquito larvae and destroy the DNA structure.

B) break down bacteria which are destroyed through change/transition of their enzyme pathways achieving a remarkable reduction of Odor and E.Coli colony counts when spraying over food dumps, animal or human effluent being prime breeding sites for mosquitoes.

 

We are breaking the life-cycle at Larvae stage.

The product is not developed to kill flying insects. Spraying teams are trained to focus on breeding sites, ranging from sewers, wet indentations in open food markets, from golf course greens to tire dumps.

Our large scale field tests for larvae counts before and after application of Preventine MLC® were also conducted with WHO recommended scoop test to provide clear results in compliance with protocol. Preventine MLC is safe for purpose as a larvicide but not produced for use on water or fish-stocks intended for human consumption. The product is supplied with a user manual.
